Ulsan International Programs

UIP is a summer international program designed for foreign students who want to learn basic Korean language, cultures, history, society, and business environments. The program consists of lectures, excursions and field trips. Participants will have chances to visit a wide variety of places such as historical, cultural and industrial sites around Ulsan and other cities in Korea. To maximize the Korean Studies experience, each student will be paired with a Korean student from UOU and share a room in the dormitory throughout the program.

The Office of International Affairs and Education grants certain credits to participants. One of the topics covered in the program is 'Tradition and Industrialization'. This topic is very important at the University of Ulsan.

Ulsan

The university plays an important role in Ulsan city which is one of Korea's major industrial centers. For that theme, therefore, prominent professors and CEOs will give lectures in English as part of the course in addition to field trips.

Parties, sports contests, and discussions in Korean Studies will promote friendship among students and help them to connect. Before the program ends, participants will have to submit a short essay, which will be used for evaluation.
