How to Apply


Sara in IndiaCongratulations on taking your first step towards studying abroad! You should begin by defining your personal and academic objectives, and then deciding on the type and location of the program that suits them.  Limiting your search criteria to one or two items will give you the best results. You may search for programs according to country, city, field of study, language of instruction, and more by clicking on the PROGRAMS link at the top of the website.

After you have attended a General Information Session, you can make an appointment with a Study Abroad counselor to narrow your options and to help you to decide on a the program that's best for you. Simply click the STAFF link above to choose the appropriate counselor to meet with, then call 742-3667 to set up an appointment. 

The actual application process for study abroad at TTU has never been easier. Most of the items needed to complete your application can be done online. Some materials must still be submitted to the Study Abroad Office.

All programs have a required deposit and/or fee.  Students attending one of the TTU Centers will pay a non-refundable deposit in order to be accepted into the program, and will also be billed an OIA fee of $75.  Students participating in a faculty-led program will be billed an OIA fee of $50, as well as a deposit for their program.  Students in affiliated or reciprocal programs will be billed a non-refundable application fee of $350.
